Отечественные специалисты из НИУ ВШЭ исследовали, как экономическая нестабильность и финансовые передряги могут повлиять на мозг человека. Проследив за добровольцами, игравшими в экономическую игру, они установили: потеря денег увеличивала пластичность мозга (способность формировать новые связи между нейронами), пишет ТАСС.

Комментирует Анна Шестакова, директор Центра нейроэкономики и когнитивных исследований НИУ ВШЭ: "Мы предположили, что, подобно пластичным изменениям мозга во время обучения второму языку или игре на музыкальных инструментах, схожие изменения происходят для определенных сигналов, которые связаны с важными экономическими последствиями. Например, звук игрового автомата может надолго связаться с крупным выигрышем или проигрышем при посещении казино, вызывая в дальнейшем особенно сильную реакцию".

Известно, что в рамках эксперимента использовалась игра: добровольцы смотрели на экран компьютера и как можно быстрее нажимали на кнопку после того, как на нем появлялась определенная фигура. Если нажатие было успешным, программа через некоторое время после этого выводила на экран 0 или сумму проигрыша. При этом перед появлением на экране фигуры проигрывался звуковой сигнал-подсказка, говорящий о большой или незначительной потере денег.

Неврологи проанализировали активностью слуховой коры мозга и характер изменений связей между ее нейронами тогда, когда добровольцы осваивали правила игры. Оказалось, если добровольцы много и часто проигрывали, то пластичность слуховой коры увеличивалась быстрее. То есть в ответ на неудачу мозг начинал активнее меняться. Причем, головной мозг впоследствии реагировал на звуковой стимул вне рамок игры.
